Mateus is the fifth generation of the Nicolau de Almeida family to produce wine in the Douro. Together with his wife, Teresa Ameztoy, they work in a winery which they call Adega do Sável (Alosa Alosa), after the fish that traveled along the Douro River from the Atlantic Sea, today an impossible reality due to the construction of the dams.
In this winery, we are introduced to different perspectives and approaches to vines and wine, based on organic and biodynamic agriculture.
In this exclusive dinner, Chef Ricardo Costa prepares a unique Tasting Menu, whose dishes will be in full harmony with the wines selected for the occasion by the Wine Director of The Yeatman, Elisabete Fernandes.
Dinner starts with a Welcome Cocktail at 7:30pm, followed by dinner, served at 8pm in events room with panoramic views overlooking Porto and the Douro river.
