We are pleased to announce the Wine Dinner to be held on the 3rd October, presenting Gloria Reynolds wines, from the Alentejo wine region.
At the beginning of the 19th Century, Thomas Reynolds, seafarer and merchant from London, founded the company ‘Thomas Reynolds & Sons’ in Porto, dedicated to the production of wine. In 1833, his sons, Thomas and Robert, began working in the cork industry in Spain and Portugal. From there, in 1850, Robert established himself in Estremoz, Alentejo, as a winemaker.
Thereafter, Robert’s son, Robert Rafael, grandson Carlos and great grandaughter Gloria went on to continue the family business. Julian Reynolds, Gloria’s son, is now the 6th generation of this family to produce premium wines in the Alto Alentejo region.
In this exclusive and intimate dinner, Chef Ricardo Costa, Executive Chef of The Yeatman, will prepare a full Tasting Menu, whose dishes will pair beautifully with the wines selected by the wine producer and Elisabete Fernandes,
Head Sommelier at The Yeatman. The wines will be formally presented at the Wine Dinner by Master Sommelier Adam Pawlowski.
Dinner starts with a Welcome Cocktail at Dick's Bar, at 8pm, and at 8:30pm dinner will be served in Events room.
Pre-payment is required to confirm your reservation at the wine dinner due to limited places. Tables are shared between 8-10 people.
